Area Counties Approve Liquor by the Drink

Posted on

Several counties in western Oklahoma had propositions to allow liquor by the drink in order to comply with State Question 792, which will end 3.2 beer and allow the sale of full-strength beer in bars, restaurants and grocery stores.

Alfalfa, Beaver, Dewey, Harper and Roger Mills were those counties and all five will pass it.

The proposition passed in Beaver County by 7 votes.

Further out in the panhandle, Cimarron County approved it, as well.
